Congresswoman, Barbara C. Jordan

Barbara Charline Jordan (1936 – 1996) was born in Houston, Texas. Her childhood was church-centered, her father a Baptist minister and mother a teacher in the church. Jordan credited a speech she heard in her high school years by Edith S. Sampson, a Black lawyer, judge and the first Black U.S. delegate appointed to the United Nations, with inspiring her to become an attorney.
Because of segregation, Jordan could not attend The University of Texas, so she attended Texas Southern University, an historically-Black institution and majored in political science and history. There she was a national champion debater, defeating opponents from Yale and Brown and tying Harvard University. She graduated magna cum laude in 1956 and went on to Boston University School of Law where she graduated in 1959.

Barbara Charline Jordan (1936-1996) was the first Black person elected to the Texas Senate after Reconstruction and the first Southern Black woman elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. Jordan served as Chair of the U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform, which recommended profound actions to stabilize immigration.

Birthright Citizenship assumes a pledge of allegiance to the country that you are born in. This requirement in the law is more important than the place you are born. It is the essence of why you are a citizen of ONE PLACE and not your parent's homeland. 10/2020
American families living on a Military Base in Germany and Japan are still loyal Americans. The Base is similar to Ethnic Enclaves in America that represent subsidiaries of their Homeland in all ways except geographically. On the Base, we spoke our language, practiced our American ways of life, waved our flag and celebrated American holidays. We continued to support American political issues and interests as proud representatives of our Homeland.
In order to establish a social and economic exploitation platform for wealth building, minds must be groomed for participation. Calling on all influencers, including media has been used to define the prey. Slaves had to be defined as less human than white humans and suitable for unpaid labor and harsh treatment. Definitions stick through the decades with reinforcement without exception every year. Definitions become ingrained and they shock good people forced to question why they react to others based on their race.

Additionally, media defines individuals, ethnic groups, organizations and nations to suit those who control the messages for their purposes. How sure are you that definitions about others are based upon a full slate of available information? Who can you trust?

I would support a business that trained and hired ADOS public housing residents, Black youth and homeless to work in call centers as part of a Reparation Plan. 5/2020

I suggest that they first talk to the people and ask a few questions about their lives and how their dreams have been derailed. Nation of Immigrants
I believe that God blessed America to be a composite of peoples representing the world. How best to test man's ability to LOVE? Like the concept of Heaven, there is one place for all who receive the gift of salvation. God tasked us to build Kingdom on earth. Inclusion. How is this possible? Only by adherence to God's Truths of love, respect and do no harm one to another. By showing the world that Kingdom is possible we demonstrate world possibilities. There will be no need to leave your homeland to get to a promised land. God assigned you a homeland promised to you. In a nation of immigrants the ongoing challenges will be the strive for unity when it is natural for all beings to support their identity group over "them" elements. There will be competition and clashes in ideologies. Only through Divine guidance will we be able to understand living together as equally valued. The Head Of John The Baptist
Reading Matthew 14, the beloved prophet and cousin of Jesus Christ, John The Baptist was imprisoned by King Herod. John had dared to pronounce the sin of adultery between the king and Herodias, his brother Philip' wife. Her daughter danced prettily at Herod's birthday party prompting him to promise her any wish. "I wish the head of John The Baptist on a tray." What could the king do, but honor his word? Therefore, acting on her mother's revenge, a Godly man was beheaded.
Bible stories remind us of our reality. Who has the ears of our leaders and why? What are their motivations and agendas? Who do they serve and who owes them?

We enter this year burdened by a world in turmoil, family members against each other, a nation and a world mourning moral righteousness. We are tempted to despair and forget that God is always in command. As we deal with battles against principalities, take time to understand and represent God's truths, set things right with your neighbors and present yourself worthy to judge the world with Jesus in the next life. 1/10/2021
