BDOAS IS DISTINCT AND ONLY NATIVE TO THE UNITED STAES OF AMERICA
Early Europeans brought slaves to pre-America. Also, In the 17th century, Africans were brought, not as slaves but as indentured servants. They earned freedom and some became landowners, but not citizens. Free Africans and other than English citizens were later deported. Some Africans opted to stay as enslaved people. During this period, chatel or generational slavery was introduced. Thus began the centuries-long oppression of Africans in America. Native American slavery was practiced. Each ethnic group; Black, white, immigrant, Caribbean and Native American enslaved people as this was the accepted method for economic prosperity during that period.
America's history is unique as a new world phenomenon for creating a people from many peoples. Natives often merged with French, Spanish, English, Dutch, Russian and other early settlers. Immigrants pursued American Dreams on the virgin shores, all claiming their piece of America for their respective ethnic groups while maintaining some traditional practices. Varying levels of patriotism were divided between America and "back home." The exception was ADOS, though combined with all ethnic groups present and was practically ethnically cleaned of African identity, became a "New People" not known elsewhere in this world. They were loyal only to the United States of America. They applied every means to prove their allegiance, a right to full citizenship and they loved the land that oppressed them. They fought in every pre- and American war. They are UNIQUE.

Why Resentments
OWNERSHIP OF AMERICA, bought and paid for by slave ancestors, freedmen and women and every generation of their heirs. They expect inheritances and entitlements as FIRST PRIVILEGES to them alongside other foundational Americans. FIRST.. consideration for opportunities over others come later to the line. FIRST... consideration for jobs, education, training and access to wealth-building privileges. FIRST... heard on issues regarding American policies that impact their country, group and threaten both.
CONSIDERATION AND RESPECT. In what nation in this world would citizens accept treatment as a secondary or lower status to recent immigrants, visitors, and non-citizen residents? This in addition to established racist, embedded and historical systems of mistreatment that daily challenge equal treatment of them under laws and moral entitlements? WHO SPEAKS FOR THEM?
